About Mrs. Thomas
Mrs. Thomas is a former teacher, Deputy Headteacher and Headteacher, bringing a wealth of leadership and classroom experience to every tutoring session. With a genuine passion for education, she tailors each lesson to the individual — building confidence, enhancing learning and delivering real results.
She has taught students across the UK, USA, Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean — delivering engaging online lessons or in-person sessions across Cheshire, all designed to accelerate progress.
Having held frontline teaching and leadership positions in both the state and independent sectors, Mrs. Thomas brings a rare breadth of experience to her tutoring. Supporting pupils in Years 3 to 8 (ages 7–13), she is an entrance exams specialist with deep expertise in exam technique and preparation for competitive private school entry, including the 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance examinations.

The Common Entrance exams, set by the Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB), are the primary route into many of the UK's leading independent schools. Mrs. Thomas has specialist knowledge of exactly what these exams demand.
Covering English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, plus the ISEB Pre-Test used by many leading prep and senior schools. Preparation tailored to your target school.
The main exam for Year 9 entry to independent senior schools, covering compulsory Maths, English and Science, plus optional subjects including History, Geography and French.
